Guildara allows Providers to set automated cancellation rules for each of their Activities. Therefore, each registration is subject to the cancellation policy of the Provider hosting the Activity, and we recommend reviewing the Provider-specific policy prior to registering for any Activity. Providers may change their cancellation policies at any time, but the policy in force at the time of your Registration for an Activity is the policy applicable to your reservation. Providers have the ability to cancel a registration at any time and it is at their discretion whether to refund any prior payments and/or cancel remaining installments, subject to their cancellation policy.
If you have questions regarding a Provider’s cancellation policy, you should reach out to the Provider directly. Please reach out to us if a Provider is not following its posted cancellation policy.
Only registrations made through the Platform may be cancelled using the Platform. If you registered for an event offline (using cash or a check) you will not be able to cancel it through the platform, regardless of what the Activity’s cancelation policy was at the moment the order was placed. You should contact the Provider directly to cancel and to explore any available refund options, at their discretion.
If you don’t remember what the cancellation policy of a registration that you already purchased is, you can either check your registration confirmation email, or follow these steps to find it within Guildara:
Click Registrations and select the registration you want to check.
Under Registration details, go to Cancelation policy.
Disregard the cancellation policy listed in the Activity or Provider page, since it might have changed since you registered for the Activity, and may not be applicable to you.
Canceling a registration through the platform will only be allowed within the Provider’s notice period. When cancelled within the proper notice period, whether you receive a Provider credit or refund is dependent on the Provider’s cancellation policy. Any unpaid installments will be canceled. If you used a scholarship to subsidize your registration, you will have the opportunity to re-apply for a new one the next time you’re registering for an Activity. Please note, however, that funds are not reserved and scholarships are not guaranteed.
If you wish to cancel a registration past a Provider’s cancellation notice deadline, you must contact the Provider directly. Whether the Provider will issue a refund and cancel future installment payments is within the Provider’s discretion, subject to its cancellation policy.
